Welcome to the Blair-Taylor FFA
FFA (previously known as Future Farmers of America but no longer associated with this title to promote those who may not have an agriculture or farming background) is an intracurricular student organization that focuses on agriculture and leadership development. It is a critical component of agricultural education, alongside classroom instruction and supervised agricultural experience programs (SAE). FFA offers students opportunities to learn about agriculture, develop leadership skills, and engage in various activities and competitions related to the agricultural industry. Through FFA, students gain hands-on experience, participate in community service projects, and build a network of peers and mentors within the agricultural community.
Blair-Taylor FFA is a professional agricultural association open to grades 7 through 12 at Blair-Taylor. We offer year-round programs that emphasize professional development, soft skills, and leadership opportunities. Our focus spans to local, state, and national community support, including events like the Blair Cheese Fest, Taylor Pull, and Christmas Tree Pick-up. We also engage younger students through Elementary Agriculture Day. Supported by our communities and alumni groups, Blair-Taylor FFA is dedicated to fostering a deep appreciation for agriculture and community service.
